What is Baptism?

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith. It is showing everyone that you have confessed that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Baptism is a way to symbolize the death and resurrection of Christ in our lives as believers.

Who sould be baptized?

If you have confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, repented of your sin, and belived that God raised Him from the dead and you have never been baptized, your next step is baptism. Cofessing, repenting, and beliveing make you a Christian. All Christians are commanded by Jesus to be baptized (Matthew 28:19). We encourage you to take your next step as a believer to be baptized and publicly share your faith with Him.

Why submersion?

We believe that by being placed completely under water, baptism by submersion symbolized the death and resurrection of Jesus in our lives as belivers. Complete sumbersion aslo represents the total spiritual change a person experiences by being rescued and saved by Jesus.
